Broken Front washer fluid non return valve

Featured Replies

I have just bought a Skoda Fabia 2004 and noticed the washer fluid wasn’t being projected all the way up the windscreen. On further inspection I found that there was some fluid also coming through the vents below the dash. Opening the bonnet it looked like the T-connector had ruptured. This actually turned out to be that the whole T-Connector had split and someone had patched it with a smaller pipe within between the vertical and horizontal components of the connector and then a lot of silicon sealant. This sealant is what has ruptured. The dealer is paying for the next MOT in early august so I could leave it until then.

Is this a common problem?

Does anyone know where I could buy the correct T-connector?

The next problem after that being getting the old fragments out!

Cheers for any help.
