iam thinking of selling the KENWOOD dnx520vbt that came with my VW jetta, I have not taken it out yet or decided on a price, but I thought I'll float the idea about if anyone is interested, so we could take it from there.

its in spotless condition and has all the bits and bobs ready to go into any VAG platform indluding skoda and seat.

let me know if anyone interested and feel free to ask any details about the unit.

apparently the boot logo can be easily changed to skoda or any pic or 800 x 480 resolution, plus the button lights can be changed to any solid color or a mix.

 

I have seen a couple on ebay and their prices, iam not expecting that, but after I post pics please pm me with your offer and we could talk further..

no it doesn't mate, don't know the reason could be the wiring or firmware, reversing camera can be plugged in quiet easy tho.

Would be great if it worked with an already fitted Sony remote commander rm-x4s (great practical stalk, fitted near to the wheel)....anything in the manuals about support for it ?

hey, don't know about the compatibility for the sony stalk but since its kenwood its being compatible with vw steering unit so it  just might have a universal thing, although it doesn't say anything about it on the manual, if you could do some research on google and find out, cheers

after a long while keeping this unit, finally back to square one as the jetta is about to go in favour of a Mercedes e class, taking out the kenwood unit tho so its up for sale again.

it has to go as I have no use for it whatsoever so let me know if someone is interested before I chuck it on ebay.

also have reversing camera that I got from ebay, its a cheap one but works well with this unit, no use of me now so I will throw it in with the whole lot.

it can be used both on VW and skoda, the buttons and surround have nearly unlimited colour choices to match vw blue or skoda green, the startup image at the moment is VW but can be very easily changed to skoda or any customised image of your choice.

Is the price £450 ono for now, or back then (i.e. have you edited the current price into the old ad), it would help to clarify as such a lot of time has passed for this thread ?

 

(it's not for me as I got a Pioneer myself that works with the stalk I had as I previously queried, but I think its a question someone looking might wonder)

yeah mate cheers for noting that, It has been a while, I got busy with things and let it be, as far as the price goes its still the same, lately I checked on ebay and these things still got a good price on them, but since its no use to me iam open to offers.
