Its that time of year again and would like your recommendations for MOT stations within Kent, ideally around the Maidstone area if possible.

If you want an impartial MOT where you aren't being failed for stuff they then offer

to fix then you can do a lot worse than have your local council depot do it for you.

It will be the full price though.

Thank you for your advice grr666, this is exactly what I was referring to.  Do you have any experience with using council depots conducting MOT's?

I've used them twice. No fancy waiting areas, very thorough, give you a full explanation, invite you to take a look under the car.

Passed both times, advisories on the Saab I had at the time but told me not to waste my money doing anything as it would pass again the following year with an advisory again
