vRS Configurator up and running

Featured Replies

At least as of 19.53 on 16th July it is.  Doubtless will be down soon so get configuring quickly :giggle:

Just specced my ideal petrol vRS estate - £30155 and that's without the sunroof.  Hmmm. Maybe not.

  • VAT free was a perpetual offer. It was "standard discount". It didn't end for years. We all knew it was like DFS sofa "last weekend" sales. Fan boys or not, we all understood that we pay £16k for OTR

£29,590 for my spec so not even over the 30k mental barrier!

to colour maxidot or not . That is the question lol

£23.7k for my diesel hatch

£26500 for my spec!

vRS TDI DSG, candy white, heated seats, colour maxi-dot, sunroof, canton, black pack, standard cruise, red/black seats, pictoris alloys, sunset glass.

Thats all I would want to honest, as much as I like my Columbus I wouldnt be paying over a grand to have it in the car and I dont like the Amundsen, so would use an ipad mini or something.  Comes at £25950, plus on teh road costs, so with the DTD 14% discount, that works out at £22317, 50% GMFV approx. £11158.00 to finance, divide that by 42 months, £265.00 per month, very approx, obviously that is just with rough things worked out from info being posted on the various threads on here, but for me, thats £30 per month less than I am paying for current vRS!

Time to do some convincing to SWMBO!!!

That's ridiculous.

to get that you must be specing most things lol

people get over excited with how much the car will cost, most of the 'options' weren't even on the mk1 or mk2 so they are mostly luxuries you yont have to spec

I got £2400 of options, its like specing an audi all over again

I noticed no wheel options??

Just did a spec I would have and it is £29,650. Seems a lot to me. Poverty spec isn't badly priced but with options it has turned into an Audi type option list.

Got a link? Can't find it

Well, you've convinced me.  I think I might be ordering mine quite a bit sooner than expected!

New Vrs still not on skoda Ireland website. We don't even know the price yet but we do expect a more elegance spec over here as standard, same as the mkll.

Current Vrs here is/was €29950 so I'm expecting a price of €33950 for the new Vrs. Very expensive if I'm rite :(

White - FREE

Red - FREE

Yellow - £495

Why?!

Configured mine in funky green with a couple of extras for £24,500. SWMBO might soon be kicking me out...

any idea why the gemini wheels dont appear or are they standard?  dont want silver wheels after having anthracite for 3 years :(

Ok, well perhaps you can email the wife and convince her as well for me!!! :-)

Are they the 19" ones?  If so, pretty sure people have said they are a dealer fit option at a grand, plus tyres, plus you get to keep the original 18" ones it comes with :-)  So they are a mega price option, does an inch really make that much of the difference....??

I must be doing something wrong with that configurator.

By the time I spec vRS to match basic Golf GTI it adds up to more than Golf GTI itself. Same happens for specced up Elegance vs GT, very evident especially in estate format.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong, thins can't be right. Last vRS was solid 7-8 grand cheaper than GTI. Even last year you could order TSI vRS from brokers for under 16k.

no the 19" are the Extrem.

Gemini are these i think

It was on VAT free deal tho currently this one isn't so not fair to compare.

Compare list price with list price and you get an idea

For me it isn't working. I'm guessing it's made so it only works if you have an UK ip address? Too lazy to try proxies and stuff now.

So, can you guys pick the panoramic sunroof and Columbus? They aren't available on the ****ty Romanian one.

If you want you can try skoda.co.uk instead of skoda.ro.

Then you can see all the country diferences.

For me, only the 2D config was working, not the 3D.

Dude, she's accepted you as an Arsenal fan.  This is nothing in comparison, surely? ;-)

Also, if you really are trying to get her on side, don't use the 'does an inch really matter?' line.

@Menumorut, I've been looking at the configurators from UK, Romania, Slovenia and Italy for a couple of weeks now. I know them by heart.

And for me, right now, the UK one (3D version) isn't working. You can get it to show the car though, if you disable the background... (the site's programmer ain't that smart!) :)

This is the reason I always use the 2D version.

The 3D version is quite often a bit...
