Thanks, read the VCDS thread again and think I finally understand it, and what the guy didn't do. The dimmwert value to 100 from 0. Alhtough I's like to sort this before I go on monday so the missus doesn't have to do it. So I'd still like to know the cable colours if anyone knows it.
