We have ordered a white vrs estate with following options:-

-heated windscreen

-heated washer jets

-red interior

-park assist (wife wanted front parking sensors)

-black pack (dealer funding)

-heated seats

Pcp over 36 months 3700 deposit £237 pm

Nice :) any discount?

As above and would you mind telling me what your balloon payment will be?

Out of interest, what does the 'dealer funding' bit mean? Also, what was the discount as above. Nice spec, I'm sure you'll love that. :)

I assume the dealer funding relates to the fact that the white doesn't cost any extra - our rrp price included metallic paint but because we don't want a metallic colour we can get the black pack and tints at  no extra cost.

Yeah dealer funding just meant they are paying for it. The balloon payment at the end was about 11900 but I can't see it been worth that :-s. the only discount we got was 15k for our year old vrs with 14k and them paying for black pack as they said DTD is not achievable with a trade in

Have they given you any indication yet as to how long delivery will be?

what engine did you go for, petrol or diesel? dsg or manual?

The dealer reckons mid September? I went for manual diesel just for our miles and depreciation

My balloon (if I proceed) will be £11566 - I would bloody hope a £24k car will be worth that in 3 years time...am I deluded? All of my previous cars have held their value better than that!?

So they only gave you £150 for the black pack? Why didn't you use Drive the deal or Carfile? You'd have saved yourself £3K!

Great choice by the way!

whats actually included in the 'black pack'? i know the grill surround is black but what else? is it worth the £150. i could cover the grill surround in vinyl at a cost of less than £10 and looks every bit as good.

The grill surround, roof rails and wing mirrors ;-)

so the only discount they gave you was something worth probably £100 to them?! Dtd are offering over £3,000 off that spec! 0% finance and a private sale of the current car for an additional £1500 would leave you quids in, or am I missing the discount detail?

Why do people keep forgetting to tell us the most important bits: engine and gearbox choice?

Me personally, I'm more interested to know what engine you went for than if you picked heated seats.  :giggle:

roof rails? they are black as standard. think i may save the £150 and just vinyl the grill surround.

think they are gloss black as opposed to the standard satin look

Looks like drive the deal have pulled their offers with the 0%. Oh well.
