What happens when engine is 55deg?

Featured Replies

Does anybody know what mode or map or setting the engine goes into once the coolant hits 55?

Thanks

I would be interested to know this also.

BUMP BUMP.

If your car is below 50,000 miles nothing, it's fine. If it has done over 50,000 miles it is knackered and will self implode. :D

lol. a dig at a previous post? :P

Lol only messing. What happens at that temp? I've not noticed anything I dont think . . .

I knew a guy once, his needle got to 55. Then, and we were horrified by this, it didn't stop. It relentlessly continued, up, further along the scale. One of us started praying. It didn't help, I myself was about to convert to religion, any religion, if it would just stop climbing. And then, it happened. It stopped. We saw it was pointing straight up, as if towards the heavens themselves, directly over the number 90. We then knew things would be good and started to relax.

However, I heard that the next time he drove, it happened again...

Once the coolant hits fifty five it tell the engine to fill the car with tartan rugs, scatter cushions, thermos flasks, torches, folding chairs etc.

I'll just leave this here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-XccUMOQ978
