DDLs not working after service

Featured Replies

My Fabia II SE TSI was serviced yesterday, and the daylight driving lights no longer work (I switched them on when I first took delivery as per page 42 of the Owner's Manual).

I have checked fuse 17 and it has not blown. I have tried the DDL switch in the fuse box in both positions, and the light will not come on. My car has factory-fitted fog lamps which incorporate the DDLs.

Has there perhaps been a software update to the management system which has caused this?  My car is a 2013 Fabia SE Plus estate, VIN TMBKN25J6D3023018.

Regards,

Richard

Mine went out randomly. I checked all that, then again. The second time, I found the fuse had gone, change dit, still no joy. Took it to the dealer and they changed the fuse again. Then they worked.

There was a strange procedure for turning the switch on though - ignition at the right position and all that stuff.

Booked problem with dealer (Gordon Lamb, Spondon, Derby) and problem was fixed while I waited. They hooked it up to their VAG diagnostic equipment, and it turned out to be a blown fuse! Me bad - must have checked the wrong fuse. Can recomment Gordon Lamb as a dealer.
