VCDS /Bluetooth Coding Help - Manchester Area

Featured Replies

I`ve just retro fitted my bluetooth module and wiring loom and microphone after picking my 2012 VRS up from a dealer in bath.

I took the module with me when I picked up the car and asked the technician to simply remove the belero headunit connect the module and microphone and code and then remove and I would route all the wiring looms when i got home etc.

The so called Technition didn`t have a clue about bluetooth retrofit but said he would activate it for me.

Now that I`ve returned home to Manchester and fitted all the wiring and module, guess what its not working !

The belero recognizes that a BT is attached as there is an option for emergency call and BT audio is greyed out in the media section.

I guess that its just needs coding ??

Anyone confirm this to be the case ?

Is there anyone you would recommend in the Manchester area that can assist ??
