You will be more than welcome, if you are really lucky you might even get some VCDS tweaks done to it on the night    :giggle:

What does VCDS stand for?

Vag Com Diagnostic System.

Basically a very powerful piece of software (and cable) that can change settings on the car very similar to what the dealer uses.

Gizmo68 but it will only be a few days old lol!

plus it will be the most powerful car I have owned will try and make it can't wait to take delivery!

Do you get many turn up?

Lol

It would certainly not be the newest car I have coded (done a handful of sub 100 miles!)

There are usually about a dozen or so who turn up, a couple of months ago there were around 20 iirc.

So what kind of things can you change improve?

Does It need anything done

will be getting the 2.0 TDI CR 184ps DPF in white with the pictoris wheels

That'll be good cause banana 3 is fooked again,..blown engine..  :giggle:

There are numerous things that can be changed (some can be changed with the maxidot also) these are among the most popular - some will depend on certain hardware to be fitted to the car, others are simply a coding change:

Alarm chirps, turn on or off

Selective door unlocking

Anti hi-jack

Large digital MPH display in the maxidot

CH/LH lights

Cornering lights

Instrument staging

Seatbelt warning bong

Telephone connection bong

Ah cool thanks lol

I hope you really are joking...

Gizmo I like the sound of some of those so hopefully my car will be here fingers crossed

WHAT????

Have you thought about giving it a decent burial and starting again? :p :p

Or maybe sorting out boost control?

I must admitt the burial suggestion is looking favourite, it was the olil pressure and big ends, couldn't cope with a bit of sustained running flat in 4th following an R8, I couldn't get fifth because I was trying to multitask..steering and holding on to my crash helmet which was pulling my head off at the time...

I hope you really are joking...

I wish I was joking but sadly its fooked again, I looked and looked at the boost and it seemed to be fine in the end, I blew the engine up having a bit of fun with an R8, the engine is pretty well lunched probably not repairable. tbh its a chance you take with a second hand engine. I'd done most things to it except touch the bottom end it was a lowish mileage fsh engine out of what looked like an unmolested car,..untill I looked closer and saw the power feed to the boot base tube from the battery. Deliberating my options which are to fit another "cheapie" engine or fit the forged lump I've built.

I don't feel too bad about it funnily enough and James thought it was amusing,...probably because at least it blew up while we were having a riot..

A couple of factors to throw in the pot,,.. I've got someone who is desperate to buy the car...and the attention it gets is a little tiresome at times,..and not too pleasant on occasion,..had a run in on tuesday with a cyclist which didn't end well.. so I need to think about my options

ouch Mike! Im sorry to hear that!

Best of luck deciding what to do next! For the short time it was running, it did go well :)

Very sorry to hear that Mike.

I would've thought the car would've  gone UNDER a cyclist?!

You clearly have more patience than me, I'd already be agreeing a sensible price...

Shame really as it looks amazing.
