What is the going rate for a first service on a Roomster 1.2tsi 105?

Have seen £129 quoted on the Skoda website but that's claimed to only apply to cars over three years old - price offered for newer cars seems to be £169 which is a lot of money for an oil and filter change

I paid £90 for my first service on a 1.2 htp Fabia.  I rang an independent garage first and got a price from them.  Quoted this to the Skoda main dealer who agreed to match it.

 

You have to be as cheeky as the dealers.  Even £90 is expensive for what they do.
