Mate I'm sooooo disparate to pick it up I would accept it if it had three wheels! Until today I didn't know about the vRS button. It's why I really like it on here.

Now that's funny, and if I had a hat on I would take it off to you. I really wish I could speak another language, or English a little better.

I believe I've found the part number after trawling through various PR codes on ETKA at work. Standard vRS spec (including the vRS button)part no is 5E2927238LWHS on cars built from 04.04.2014

My VRS does not have this, just the standard Mode button.

 

When in the Sport mode, will this sound generator be activated, or is it only activated by that specific VRS button?

i tested this before completely deactivating it this evening. I hate it on long motorway journey. Its a resonant drone for me. Having driven a Clio V6 with the engine right behind your ears everything else is a let down. this is a fail for me, sorry.

 

Its still there on all vRS mode settings just to different levels, with sport at 100% volume afaik. Mine was set to 100% and is now 0% thanks to VCDS. 

 

just reading this and i don't like to gloat but my MY14 vRS...
