Update this morning.... I heard that it *could be* that my Yeti will arrive last week of September.

1. My clock is redundant

2. I shall be away in Kenya for the first two weeks of October so I won't be able to play!

According to the weather forecast, tomorrow looks for picking up the Yeti but, unless you get it undercover, it's going to get wet on Friday; a baptism maybe?

 

I've just ordered a stubby aerial for mine (only an Elegance so only need AM/FM aerial) as when I brought a demonstrator home the aerial missed the underside of the open garage door by less than 1cm.

It seems that my clock is running slower that Skoda's.

I just had an email from my dealer:

"Your new Yeti has now been built and is on a train from the factory to the port in Germany (Emden)."

So how long does it take from there to the dealer???

Couple of weeks at most.

Mine took a week from manufacture to dealer, after a 6 month wait though!

I'm off to collect my new Yeti Elegance at 11:00am today, ordered on the 15th July, Built on the 21st August, arrived at the dealers Friday 6th September.

As a matter of interest, I mentioned roof bars. (Stupidly I thought that my Roomster bars might fit, but no, they are too short.) £165, sir. "But I have seen them from dealers on the internet as low as £140"

As of today my L&K still languishes at Emden. :(

Another 5 days on...... my dealer reports it as *STILL* being at Emden :(

I feel for you Rod. Wasn't the original date for your delivery still in a few weeks' time? Mine's due the 31/10/13 and I was told the build date was last week. 'Haven't heard anything else over the weekend. I'm counting the days..... :think:

Delivery date was updated to last week, instead of this coming week. Its just that I *was* due to be away in Kenya from 27th Sept until the 13th Oct. (Those plans are up the shoot now though). So delivery date is now behind because of the infernal wait in Emden.

Update from my dealer today:  after it has sat in Emden for about two weeks :(   ..... 

 

"I have just spoken to Skoda UK Retailer Support and they assured me that your new Yeti was shipped from Emden this morning, meaning it should arrive in the UK late tomorrow. It will then have to pass through the UK Port and wait for a transport order for it to be delivered to us. I'm told this will most likely be early next week but I will send you daily updates."

I have just been told today that our new Yeti S 4x4 is being built next week, he has assured me we should have it by the end of October, does this seem reasonable.

Heard from dealer today that my Yeti will be built in week 42!

 

Ordered 20th August.

'Had a telephone call from the dealer to say my Yeti would be available within the next 7 days. I ordered on the 8th of August and initially due the 31st of October. However, I got an email a couple of weeks ago to say that it was being built last week and now a call to say it's on its way, so it's well early. Happy with this as you can imagine
