Cornering lights now :)

Featured Replies

Now I have vcds been doing some research

Did not realise but you can program it to turn on fog lights as cornering lights for funny enough - cornering and when you turn the indicators on.

Wow result, feels like I have a modern car.

Anyone else done this recently or am I just behind the times

Any other useful tricks I am missing out on?

how and where did you do this? you got a guide ? and what year of car did you do this with, can it be done on a 2006 octavia 4x4 ?

I'm interested as well. 2012 FL 1.4TSI here.

I don't think its possible on a pre FL car.

rules me out then!!!

Works well enabled it on my 2011 vRS as I live in the country and it is useful when turning into my drive in the dark.

I've seen the Seat diagram showing what it's supposed to show/do but how did you find it in action in realife and what bugged you about it mike??

Mike enabled mine for me on my 2007 vRS, and admittedly they weren't much good as the front fogs on the vRS are quite small.

However I've driven a Yeti (with it's high mounted foglights) and now have a Superb with low but big front fog lights and quite like them.

I only notice them on slow, tight country lanes but there is a difference. What I really miss are xenon's!

I have them activated on my vrs, they only work when cornering/turning at low speed, they dont work when indicating(as per the op) i actually find them good to have,i do get people saying "you have a light out" or they look confused when i pull into the works car park & i turn left then right & each fog comes on & goes off.
