Hi everyone, picking up my brand new car today. Was really excited until I read last night that the vRS Fabia production is being killed.....Not that I can back out now..... I just need some affirmation from you vRS owners that I'm doing the right thing and I'll love it!

No idea where you heard Fabia vRS production is being killed, there is no word on stopping production.

Is that just for Australia?

VW CEO is reported to have said they will not be doing a Fabia mk3 vRS, but they had never said they would

or when there would be.

I have my car and I love it. No regrets. I read that Fabia vRS was not being produced anymore on the Top Gear website.

Hello , my brother has biught kodiak with matrix led lights. One of the problem is that high beam don't light up automatically and there is option to enable it on the menu. I have read somewere that someone had the same problem , but in tme meatime recieved an ota update and the function appeard . I have an obd11 but can't connect the car because of rhe newer protection so I was wondering how I could enable it. Another thing is if it would be possible to enable the inner rear stop lights. Local dealership said it would cost £300 to upgrade my maps and suggested that there are better options them then for this! After lots of online research I decided to update the firmware from H4120 to 5274. I have the zipped file RNS_510_FW_5274_update.iso and have burned this to a DVD at lowest speed. When I put the DVD in the unit (no keys in iginition) it whirs around and then after 20-30 seconds comes back with a CD/DVD error. The unit will play a normal music

For the past few weeks my Skoda Scala Infotainment unit has been prompting me to do updates. Almost everyday I get the prompt to do an update. I only get the one prompt in a day. I believe the procedure is to park, accept the update, turn off the ignition, exit the car and lock it. I think some updates only apply when you next start the car.
