SE/SE+ Onyx-Blue interior

Featured Replies

I am aware that this been discussed previously but the threads I've looked at don't have any photographs (links no longer working). There are plenty of pictures of the Onyx-silver online. The Skoda Uk configurator seems to show it but when surfing the other day, I came across a photo of a Roomster with an onyx blue interior and not only did it look very bright, it was quite tacky in my opinion! We chose the blue interior as it looked darker (hence more practical) than the silver. All the used ones for sale I've seen online have very poor interior shots, so you can't really tell what it's like. Could any Monster owners with the blue interior please post a piccy or three for me please?

My Yeti SE+ is on order and I'm getting a bit worried now....

Apologies that I've posted in an old thread on this subject as well but I didn't know if this one would get seen.

Anyone out there got any pictures of the Onyx-blue upholstery?

The only images are from the Roomster but don't think the Onyx / Blue trim in the Yeti will look like this:

Don't worry, the Onyx Blue is darker and more grown-up in the Yeti than in that Roomster picture. The only slight issue is that, as the blue thread is almost metallic in colour, it shows as too bright around the edge of the panels where the onyx mesh is stretched & the blue reflects the light - the silver also does this to an extent but slightly less noticeable.

There's a clear shot of the rear + a glimpse of the front, that I think demonstrates what I'm saying fairly well, in my SE pictured here:  http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/144075-yeti-forum-members-picture-thread/?p=3240477

Hope this helps.

Currently have an SE+ which the dealer wants me to replace with another one  :) ....... I was told that they had now gone back to the original 'crystal' seat coverings... ????

Surely even that's better than that  Onyx Blue  upholstery!

Give me an hour or so and you will have a pic of mine.

I have to say I wasn't quite sure when I opted for this, as I had the silver on my previous yeti, but I quite like it.

It's nowhere near as in your face as the rooster pics above.

Thanks very much for posting this,it's just what I needed, some pictures that are clear enough to see what the interior looks like in quite bright lighting (note the "blown highlights" outside of the car, this must mean that they're taken with fairly high light levels I guess?) I've also managed to find some more pictures of the blue in used Yetis for sale online (involved a LOT of trawling!) but these are far better. I also don't agree with Freedie, I think the blue upholstery looks good. I chose this as I wanted something that would hide the dirt well (seemed darker than the silver onyx on the website configurator) and also to introduce a bit more colour;my Yeti will be Candy white and I want something to break up the expanses of dark grey in the dash and other parts of the interior.

Thanks again for this.

Here ya go.

I reckon this is as close as you'll get without seeing it in real life...

CFB, thanks very much for this, it's just what I wanted. Did you just go to your Yeti and take a picture and upload this? Above and beyond people, above and beyond   These pictures have really allayed my fears, especially this last one, as it seems to be just as I imagined it would look!

You're welcome, and yes I did. Nothing better to do whilst dinner was simmering away for 1/2hr :)

I found this which might be of interest?

Thanks for this freedie. I think I've got a good idea of what the interior will look like now.
