Filled my car this evening and broke £90 for the first time

I'd admittedly gone for Shell V-Power Nitro+ @ £1.459 / litre, but watching the pump pass £90 for 61.98 litres was alarming to say the least :@

It's frighting how much it costs to fill up these days

That's not a pretty sight :(

Been the norm on the work car for a few months.

Once it hits £100 a fill we know things are bad

I remember when it used to cost me £30 to fill up my XR3

£84 for me yesterday

I remember when it was under £1 a gallon and I got Green Shield Stamps.

Gaz

Just over £100 in the R8 V10 this morning, and £70 in this afternoon, been a good day at work!

Thankfully fuels needs to get toward £2 a litre for me to to do this.  Most I have ever managed is 51 litres, but I was in Belgium at the time, so it wasn't "too" hard on the wallet.

Get used to it.

The cost of fuel is only going one way...

I think at Silverstone I managed to burn over £200 of V power in a day! :peek:

We did fill up a couple of times though and you gave the car everything it had :)

But as expensive as it is, Fuel still isn't the biggest cost if you are running a new car.

Im quite happy with filling up the fabia after work..especially if i have just filled up my 26tonne rigid at work..400litre tank :o

Just think, About £70 of the £90 it took to fill up was pure tax

Just think.

No it wasn't.

Blimey.......I'm losing the will to live....oh well

Smithy
