Just had some fitted on my VRS, i hear they are made by owned or even made by continental why are they 'that' good?

Pay just over £300 for 4 including, tracking, balancing etc all fitted.

I'm not keen on mine tbh. I find the sidewall is too soft.

Can second that from recent antics.

I've been using them for a few years as has a mate on his fabia. Best thing since slice bread for the money imo, ok in the dry, great in the wet (which is 90% of the year here), I love them!

I like them and am on my second pair. You get nearly 9mm of tread too, unlike other new ones with 7.5-8 mm.

However this week there was a thread saying they were being discontinued, so may not be able to buy the in the future. :(

The same might apply to the Fabia as to my Octavia Vrs. I run my tyres at quite a high pressure, more than thats written on the Fuel Flap.

I set mine at 35 psi all round and I think the tyres are better at that pressure and are wearing pretty  even.

No soft sidewalls for me

I had them on my golf, albeit in 205/55/16 and the sidewalls were incredibly soft. Don't get me wrong the wet grip was good, but they seemed to make it roll around a hell of a lot.
