I have just bought a Fabia monte carlo with MDI and sat nat. The problem is it doesnt have a way of pausing music.

 

I will be ordering a new Octavia VRS some time next spring and I need to know if you can pause tracks through the head unit when using the new AMI system?

 

I listen to audio books and so I need to be able to pause.

No I mean actually how to pause.

On my fl vrs you just press pause but on the Fabia there is no pause

It's usually mute that does that

So there is a mute button? Does it pause the track as well?

Yep, there's a combined play/pause button (I assume it's on the touchscreen).

Yes, you can pause when playing media.
