It's so sad that Suzuki have such a big/little hit on it's hands with the Jimny and now more or less have to withdraw it from sale in the EU. It beggars belief that they didn't figure its high emissio

  • 6'6" and my wife is 5'11", we pulled on a Jimny like a coat.

I am Jimnyless for the first time in 16 years.

Gone as a trade in to the biggest and baddest Car Dealership Group in the UK.  Bless them!

So i thought lets see just what a 'new' 2019 Automatic Jimny will cost me.

One on Autotrader was advertised with a £23,995 asking price and showing as 'sold'

Stuff that for a game of soldiers even when that is a 'Asking Price' / RRP.

I will be waiting for an accident damaged one to appear, but then i guess many others will be as well.

Top Gear tonight has the cheaper proper 4x4's the journalist seem to forget to mention.

The Suzuki Ignis Allgrip & Fiat Panda Cross.

I have been watch to see if my 2003 Jimny Automatic i traded in has been bought and VED put on it.

Just spotted it advertised for sale.

56,000 miles, just serviced, MOT till December, bla bla bla & an Asking Price of £4,250 & being sold at a Mercedes Independent Specialist.

That is some money if they get that.  They must have done some tarting up on it to make it presentable or someone has, which i could not be bothered doing.

So around £12,000 new and 15 years later might go for the asking price or there abouts.

Not many cars are like that other than a Fabia vRS. (not mk2's though)

God! it must be a Supercar, for the man who has everything.

Or is it all about Image Promotion?

It's funny how we've been waiting to see what the new Defender looks like, so far it's been most camouflaged prototypes, but perhaps the bag has lost it's cat!

It seems that someone has found the forthcoming Lego model of the new Defender...perhaps. If so it's got to be one of the funniest ways a car has been 'outed'. Looks OK from what I can see :D
