Well, the Hudl seems pretty good so far. Ordered yesterday (first day on sale) and picked up from the local Tesco Express at lunchtime. GPS holds a lock and it's good having a decent size display. Time will tell if it's a bargain purchase or not.

Ordered one of these tonight after realising I only had to spend £60 of Clubcard vouchers to get one, it's nice to feel like you're getting some tech for nowt  :sun:

Went into a Tesco today and there was someone demo'ing them to customers.  When I came back a little later he'd shifted 6 of them I heard him telling one of the store staff members.

From what I saw they looked pretty good for the price for most people.  Not sure it'd match a Kindle, Nexus 7 or Galaxy tab for anyone with loads of apps or looking for a fast device.

Cheers your a star :)

God knows why it doesnt come with those or even just say heres a link to the instructions!!!

Kit :)

No details on the box apart from what it is!! It doesn't even tell you how to turn it on or how to unlock the home screen!!

My nexus had a screen cover with text and arrows pointing at the power and volume buttons and the power socket.

On boot showed a tips mode including how to unlock it after the Google account setup process

Got mine today and it had a clear sheet over the screen with arrows pointing to the various side buttons and sockets. There was also a quick start guide in the bottom of the box.

Well impressed with it so far

Tried to play with the hudl's in Tesco and both had crashed /locked up. Tried the usual button combo's yet nothing.

One was stuck shutting down the other on the explore scree where you could see colour choices etc.

Yeah there do seem to be some reports along those lines. Mine did a firmware update to 1.2 during setup and so far its behaved. The only thing I'm struggling with is the slight lag when typing, I'm too used to it being instant on my HTC one X.

Err, I have a nexus 4 and my mother in law has a nexus 7. The OS is the same.

Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 4

I was comparing the UI bertween an ASUS tablet and a Galaxy S4 PHONE ;) Not the same as comparing two nexus tablets.....
