Just a little poll. Which vRS wheels do you like best?

My faves are probably the Gemini silver, although if the vRS could be had with the Golus, i'd probably have gone for those!

I wonder if a dislike for Pictoris is skewed by them being on everything to start with...

Gemini black. Skoda have shown them on their Facebook page but they are not available to spec :(

1. Xtreme 19s (if money was no option)

2. Black Geminis (if they were available)

Which is why I've settled for my 3rd favourites- the Anthracite Geminis!

1) 19" Xtreme (cause iv gone for them)

2) Black Pictoris

3) Anthracite Gemini

I commend your bravery robfad, the Xtremes do look great but even the 18s on my Mazda 3 MPS (same 225/40 18 tyres as on the Octavia) have needed replacing twice due to potholes so I fear the 19s would be even worse. Not to mention additional risk of scraping of course!

Iv not had any issues with my current 225/40/18 and do try and avoid potholes anyway they will be insured anyway haha

I probably prefer whichever is easiest to clean! Has anyone tried getting a hand through any of them to clean the insides? The mkII FL wheels are great but the mkIII ones don't look so easy.

Would you not be best showing the wheels so we don't have to go searching to see what the differences are.

Apologies, I've just realised I posted a picture of an OZ racing wheel I was looking at not the Xtremes - doh!

Here it is!

I'm replacing my Anthracite Gemini 18s with Turini Black 18s, going to keep the original wheels for winter tyres as I average 20k a year.

The Gemini is one of the ugliest alloys to ever see the light of day.

I love the Pictoris despite having Gemini Silver

Consider changing to the Pictoris when going to winter tyres. Or Turini :S

 

Btw, stock rim in Belgium are 17" Dorado

The ones with the fewest spokes.

 

Easier to clean.

Not sure it's just as simple as nicest wheels. For instance, I chose a dark colour, metal grey, so went for Pictoris as I didn't want dark wheels. However on a white / silver car, anthracite wheels would have suited better. But if pushed, I'd say Pictoris, also because nowadays, they appear to be rarer on new cars.

#1 Black Turini's (do these come in 19in?)

#2 Black Gemini's (owned - would be better if 19in)

#3 Black Xtremes 

 

The 18in wheels look a bit silly on the RS just because it's so damn high - good for post earthquake Chch though.
