I started playing Football Manager 2008 last night. Started getting bored of GTA unless doing things with the crew.

Crew nights are great - unfortunately the last few nights I have been busy with other things but will be on tonight (hopefully not getting myself and the car blown up by anyone - not looking at anyone in particular............)

If there is a few of us on i'll jump on for a bit.

I'll probably still be playing FM08 tonight, really into it again, though won't give up on GTA yet.

Still annoyed i've not really managed to make it on for some crew based shenanigans.

In fact i've not really done any mulitplayer AND not yet finished the single player missions.

 

I bailed for a while to play GRID 2, and at the weekend traded in a load of DVD's and got Dead Rising 2, Call of Duty Black Ops 2, and Batman: Arkham Origins.

 

Only the lure of finishing the single player will tempt me back to GTA me thinks

There's a demo of it on the marketplace which was enough to convince me to buy it.

 

It's pretty good. Very arcadey. The early levels are also pretty easy but it toughens up once the speeds increase. The various different race types also add to the longevity (rather than Forza where you jsut drive round and round and round and round and round and round)

 

i'd certainly recommend it for the £12 is is brand new in Game at the moment;

I'd also make sure you do buy it new as if you buy second hand it is likely that the previous owner will have activated the "online pass" meaning you won't be able to play online unless you purchase a new one for £6.

I've started playing COD; Ghosts now. Completed the storyline in about 5 hours, so now online.

I'm ploughing though Batman Arkham Origins.

Incredibly smiilar to both Arkham Asylum and Arkham City but still enjoyable enough.

I've still got x2 of the Batman games in the wrap. Bought them after they'd been out for months, so had come down a lot in price, but always been hooked into other games.

Had a blast on this last night, and had to do an update, I thought oh here we go again. However it was for the best.

As for Valentines Day, they have put 2 new cars into the For Sale section one being the Rat Loader:

and another one that looks something out of The Godfather (which I can't get a picture of).

Also Pinstripe Suits for the fellas and I presume some raunchy outfit for the ladies (vrs19td).

I did the update without loading the game up last night. Meant to go on today but got into COD and about to go out, so hopefully there's no limited time items on there.

I think there was actually but unsure on what it was. Oh forgot there is a new gun also, known to us as the Tommy Gun. It's all Bonnie & Clyde if you ask me, which isn't a bad thing. Really want that other car though but it's about $700,000.

As with the rat loader, there are so many modifications. (currently all free)

Is the Rat Loader itself free??

Finally finished the single player last night.

I all honesty the only criticism i can level at the game is it was too easy.

 

didn't have to go to Ammunation more than a couple of times.

never got busted.

only got killed a few times but seemignly they no longer confiscate your weapons so dying isn't a major issue anymore.

Always had a car (or 3) to hand to use for missions

 

Not entirely sure how large my want to go back for acheivements and percentage points goes though.

I didn't find more than 2 or 3 pieces of ufo and newspaper scraps on my travels and other than blindly drivnig around or using an online map i'll never see them.

 

maybe need to give it some more time but unsure.

\use Chop the dog to help you find the missing pieces.

Love the sound of that update, I was thinking of getting a tank but I think I'll spare being a troll and snap up that Turismo GT instead!

Sounds like the update is the one everyone has been waiting for - might have to look at the "fleet" and see what I can lose so I can get some new car loveliness!

I'll probably go on, see what the cars are like and decide whether to start playing again or not. Might sell the Adder and Roosevelt to create space.

When are they rolling out the online heists?

No date set at the moment. A lot of talk but nothing else.
