I'll be changing my Gang to Briskoda this evening as most of my members are out and about and wont be on for a while.

The past few days I've been getting bored, and just setting bountys and merryweather mercenaries onto people for the shear hell of it, and trying to get people to chase me. . 

Like VRS19TD, I must have been in the middle of something to not take you up on it.

 

Looking to try to do some "races" sometime to boost my tuning options (for "race" read one person letting the other win the required number to fully level the car and vice versa).

Yeah i created my own race over the last week, so wanting people to 'like' it. ;)  So I'll host that tonight if anyone's interested.

I'll hopefully be on in a bit but only until about 19:30-20:00.

I have been doing the same just going around killing folk for the fun of it. Best one is to buy an attack buzzard and let the Co pilot control the missiles then just hunt people around the map. Or if you own a tank just drive about destroying people.

Good times last night, especially going "hunting" after completing boneyard survivor. Next time, i think we should vote to kick if we get someone trying to kill us just because we got to the port-a-cabin first. I wish they would put a list up at the end to show how many kills/deaths everyone had as well.

 

I'll be on again tonight if you want to do some race boosting. We'll start with supercars and work down, though will take quite a few races i think. We also need to do slip streams and overtakes to unlock some of the paint options.

Could do. We also need to turn matchmaking off as well, otherwise we'll end up with randoms joining.

i have that turned off permanently, think you can do it within the options. {Start-Online-Options}

Sorry to anyone that sends mission/race invites that i don't join up to. I'm usually either in the middle of something or i join but it says it's already started, so i don't bother to specate.

 

Good to see PastyBoy online on Saturday and did some races/missions with him and a load of randoms. Started to get annoying that the 'host' would wait for the timer to drop without just starting it, even when the session was full.

 

Was entertaining John. Mrs Pasty was out "doing lunch" so i don't hink i moved off the sofa for about 5 hours!

 

Not really done much online but am sticking to races and mission - where the lack of decent level and thus decent armour/weapon/cars - isn't quite so much of an issue.

 

If i'm 100% honest i don't really "get" the GTA online "worlds".

Missions, race, deathmatches? Yes.

Randomly running around getting killed and sticking up petrol stations? No

 

That said i'd imagine a world with just people from the clan/friends all in chat would make more sense, but dunno if that's possible.

 

Mind you that isn't the only thing in the game I don't "get" (Yoga??? why?! what's it achieve?) but i'm not an imaginative enough player I don't think

I quite enjoy the open world (free roam) to be honest. I've completed all of the store hold-ups x2 and it's fun getting a bounty and seeing all the white dots coming after you. It's also fun getting killed once by some random and then just repeatedly killing them until it gets a bit boring, so i move onto something else. I'm also still finding new things that i never knew were there, like the gold tree in the mountains on the North East of the map.

I'm on most evenings from about 17:15 until 19:30, though i'll be on until about 21:00 tonight. I'm also on at the weekends from whatever time i wake up, until whatever time SWMBO wakes up.

I'll also be on this evening.  From gone half 6 onwards.   if anyone manages to get a car that they like before putting it into your garage I can mod it for you for free (excluding high import cars), e.g. Merryweather Mecaneries truck.

Basically if you find a car on the streets, you can usually get some decent enough cars that you can take to the 'mod shop', and I've got unlimited money I'm trying to get rid of. .  For the Merryweather 4x4 you have to defeat them (which isn't hard) then take their truck. If i do say so myself, they look pretty pimped once done with.

Correct. However if you go back and buy your luxuary apartment you'll have all your cars back.  Think R* are thinking about allowing players to have more than one garage. 

Wish I was going to be online tonight - would have loved to do some races etc. If I make it on at all tonight it will be late on

 

Really enjoyed last night after the Boneyard - don't think he realised he was going to get both of us chasing him relentlessly for 30+mins!

I currently have around 5 billion in the bank and have several planes,helicopters a few buses I even bought the dump truck. I also got the tank even though I'm not at the proper level for it yet.

I'm not too sure about the Merryweather Mesa, seems a bit clumsy to me.
