eos 350d

Well - I'm now a 350D owner too! What can I say - I'm quite impressed! :D

Got it yesterday lunchtime and have been mucking about with it ever since! Jessops couldn't quite match the lowest kit price I could find which was eBuyer at

I havent bothered with a case, rather a photgraphic specific back-pack, that allows the cary of extra lenses, memory cards, batteries, manuals, battery charger.

Its a Tamrac Igot in the states, but I was going to get the Lowepro Micro 100.

Thanks, I'm sure I may well move onto something similar in due course. But even then, think there might be occasions when I know I'll just use the standard lens, so a normal case will be sufficient.

Will check that Lowepro case out. Have tended to have their stuff in the past, but wasn't sure which case would fit :)

Keep an eye on the photo mags.

I got a lowe Pro rucsac for 12 month subscription...cost the same as the back pack did in store and 12 mags for free.

Just got a spare monopod for renewing. Not quite sure how they do it, but hey, a freebie is a freebie and I do learn the odd thing from the mags.

It depends what I'm doing case wise...walk, logicially I pack if I can the lowe camera sac...if I'm going scrambling, I'll put what I need in the top loader case and stuff it inside my big rucsac.

If I'm in the car, I'll pack it in a box in a bag and if I'm about town, I'll carry a lens in my bumbag type thing and the camera in the top loader.

I haven't yet, didn't have time today. eBuyer's my backup,
I recently bought a 350d, would highly recommend it. Im also looking for a lens!

whats your budget

Ebuyer didn't appear to be a budget import, listed as a 350D etc - and Jessops accepted it!

That's all I can say really; it worked for me

Cheers Colin - I'll keep an eye out as I'd quite fancy one of those Lowepro rucksacks. For everyday, I ended up ordering a Lowepro Rezo TLZ-20 top-loader case this morning. Should do me fine...
