Hi!

I'm new here and in the decision-making process of a possible purchase of a Octavia vRS Combi.

(Don't know what color yet  . Maybe race blue or white.)

 

I saw some people discussing colors in another thread.

For those of you who wonder what a black vRS looks with the black pack.

The sunset glass doesn't look very dark at all... Mmmm

Sorry, but as I've said previously sometimes less is more, it needs some chrome to create some well needed contrast.

I like it. The front end looks rather menacing in all black.

I don't like black colour car. It is very personal and equally other doesn't like the colour I chose, Meteor Grey VRS TDI DSG estate.

Love it!

The best bit about the all black look is the red brake calipers!

i've gone for a petrol VRS estate, in black, with black vrs leather (grey stitching), no black pack (need a little chrome to add contrast) and standard anthracite wheels. plus panoramic sunroof, columbus nav, cruise, towbar (to tow a dingy not a caravan, thank you) - god knows when delivery will be looking at the other thread, but hopefully it will be worth the wait. will be odd having front wheel drive after years of rear wheel drive Mercs and Beemers, but i'll get used to it i suppose. test drove the diesel but i couldn't bring myself to be that sensible. got a decent deal, £6k down, £359 pcm over 23 months, so a pretty healthy discount in there. excellent service so far from Richard at Crawley Down Skoda.

Austerity measures !

Looks very good. Colour coded grilles was one of the most wanted mods on previous Octavias so it's good to see proper factory option. Looks perfect without silver trim, (silver trims are just so ninenties Vauxhall and tacky). Black Octy's look the part in general, so much better than any other colour in the range.

It looks very... not interesting I would say, and to quote redandwhitepauly it looks like a funeral car.. Not at all like an RS.

You mean a hearse... And it will be, being black be a complete 4r$€ to keep clean & looking good. 

I love my black cars, buy IMO that just does not look right. What a difference the colour can make. Exactly the same car in while looks sooo different. The contrasts with the wheels really set them off but on that its just a tad too bland.

I like the black trim but I think it needs silver wheels to break it up a bit.

That car looks like a 4x4 too, needs a set of springs!

Yeah, I don't remember the ride height being like that on a my test drive.

I thought it was lower.

Oh, and here's another shot of Black with the Black Pack. Dunno what's not to like personally.

Looks pretty good to me, a good Bond villain's henchmen car. Wouldn't want to keep it clean, but I like it.

I nearly ordered black with Gemini silver wheels, silver roof rails and dealer fitted black grill (black pack on a black car is a bit pointless!)

Oh what to do!

(And I know the wheels in the pic aren't Gemini but they're not on the configuration thing)

I've ordered a black car, silver gemini wheels, silver rails and stock silver grille. I really think you need the contrasting silver to 'set it off'. Black pack looks great on every other colour though I think. ;-)

Silver mirrors would be a nice option. Maybe I can trade my black ones with someone with a silver car. :-D
