I've put my car in for a report to be filed at skoda thus to have the car rust rectified etc, the fella is saying that it 'could' be void because it's been lowering (by about 30mm) anyone else had this?

He's talking *******s, I took mine in on Tuesday and the guy said that should go through no problems, rust on the boot lid that is.

Unless obviously the wheels have been scrubbing off the arches I just thought you meant boot kid ha ...

won't get nothing off the arches and sills mate they'll just put it down to stone chips. Didn't even say anything about mine being lowered all he did was photo the rust and the mileage

I'd be telling him to swivel personally.

I was told it was doubtful about arches and sills, even though the front of the sills are going and they are directly behind mud guards

Funnily enough received an email of skoda today saying my claim had been accepted and the paint guys will be contacting me within the next week, so all smiles ! Hope you get yours sorted.

That's a bit of a crappy attitude, if I was presenting a claim on a customers behalf and after making the customer aware of any potential stumbling blocks, that was said to me I'd be filing the paperwork straight in the bin.

 

It's Skoda who say whether they'll pay a claim or not, so why have that attitude to someone presenting the claim on your behalf?

all where the boot lights are mate it's quite bad, and there's a couple around the vRS badge. Didn't even expect anything to come of it but like I say, got emailed today saying it's been accepted. Happy days
