Brake upgrade

Featured Replies

Hi guys, relatively new to all this, have had a fabia vrs 55 plate for a few years and brakes are now due a change so thought i may aswell upgrade to the 312mm setup.

I have searched and think im right, but wanted to check with you guys first.

Will these be right for my Fabia

312mm front brake set up, taken from a mk1 Audi TT 225bhp. With calipers, carriers, disks and pads.

Thanks in advance guys

Yup mate they will go on so long as it is a mk1.

Your std lines will work on them too.

Only thing that wont work is the quattro or 4x4 rears. Only fwd rears fit direct without spacers mate.

Also a great upgrade doing the rears.

I have my old brakes off my octavia vrs and they are a masive improvement. Never run just fronts as I had the lot so was rood not to fit them all round

Cheers for the reply, yep they are a Mk1, unfortunately dont have the option for the rears, just the front.

Thanks again

Cheers

Still a nice upgrade.

I only use pagid pads and discs from cp4less.

Just pop an octavia vrs reg in there from a mk1 1.8t off ebay to get the right parts.

Or

YE05VWS

that was my old reg and will bring up the right pads n discs

Nice one, cheers pal

Much appreciated

Best upgrade I did after remapping the vrs, got mine from a guy on ebay and couldn't fault the work gone into them certainly worth the money.

Upgraded 256mm rears won't do a lot anyway. I'd say it's more for looks.

Youd be surprised mate.

I ran std fronts and octy vrs rears for 3 weeks a bit back and tbh it did feel nice under braking, rear end stayed down under hard stops.

I'v just done this mod! It is wicked. I'v got stock fabia vrs rear system (new drilled and grooved discs) and the octavia vrs calipers and carriers with brand new drilled and grooved 312mm disc!

Looks the business and isn't just looks it is so much better then stock fabia vrs brakes!
