Alex, the DTM runs on the GP circuit. Just be prepared for lots of traffic around the ring early morning and after the race. I got stuck last time I was there at the sametime as the DTM

The VLN is done on the northloop.

Yep, VLN is on both the GP and the ring. DTM is GP only, watched the VLN a few weeks ago from my hotel room in the Dorint.

Another complication is that during big events on the GP Strecke they close off the track through T13 & make you go through the old pits on route to Hatzenbach which spoils the fun a bit.

Last sundayafternoon and yesterday were great. I did 7 laps in row sundayafternoon and saw nobody on the track

Absolutly Although I am no longer a Octavia owner, I still have a week spot for the Octavia RS . I am even thinking off bringen the Merc back to the dealer and getting me the new RS

Very intense course. You are split into groups according to experience & language. Track is split into about 12 sections. You drive section in instructors car, then do about 3 or 4 runs in your own with instructor watching you. On last day you do free lapping of whole course & then a lap each where you are marked by instructors all around the circuit.

If you see a M3 CSL with BMW flag graphics on bonnet say hello; that is a co worker of mine called Thorleif Nilssen. Try & get a lap with him on an evening session. Very fast!
