Wrap them with Vinyl? Plastidip doesn't last anywhere near as long as it should do IMHO.

My mirrors have started doing this too, not got round to respraying them yet

Id personally wrap them.

 

The repair will be cheap so either way is fine, a box of wet and dry and some lacquer will be £15 at most.

 

Some vinyl wrap off fleebay will be about £5-10
