Heated Windscreen vRS Tdi Estate

Featured Replies

Just wondering if there are any supply issues with the heated screen as i ordered that the nozzles & heated seats but it's not showing on my order form though i appear to have been charged the full price for the winter pack £358.33 plus VAT, or 430.00 inclusive of VAT .

Also Front Assist is showing on my order i ordered Park Assist is front assist part of the park assist order?

Of course i emailed the dealer just thinking this route may be quicker.

Cheers

Not heard anything, best give SUK a call to check your order is correct.

Front Assist used to be part of a spec (Elegance). However, it is not connected in any way with Park Assist.

Strange on my dealer order form it shows Front Assist (Pack Option), this is a vRS Tdi Estate ordered last week i thought it may be included with the Park Assist.

It is a "pack option" if you go for ACC. ACC comes with Front Assist. As I said, Front Assist has nothing to do with Park Assist.

Spoke with Skoda UK my car has Front Assist & Park Assist , i didn't ask why in case anybody decided it was wrong

It looks like out of your x3 pack options, they have incorrectly typed Front Assist instead of Heated Front Screen.

I'd check to confirm if I was you.

Winter pack is heated front screen, washers and seats.

I know, I was referring to mrj2k8's dealers checklist pic.

It shows "pack options" for Washer Jets, Heated Seats & Front Assistant.

This is where the dealer has made the typo.

Apologies dc5r666 I probably should of used a quote. I was referring to the OP's original post (below) where he said that he did not have them on his order but did have / was charged for the winter pack.

To clarify, I have spoken with Skoda and they confirmed that my order is as stated above, with heated screen, park assist, and front assist so looks like I got front assist for free, I didn't start asking them why it was on my order i just asked them to tell me what options i had on the car.

Though maybe i will not feel so lucky if i am left waiting 6 months for my car because of the supply problems with front assist.

and that wasn't the check-list it was the actual order form so i guess it's binding now.

No worries Mike, I should've made myself clearer in the first place :-)

mrj2k8: I hope it doesn't delay the order for you, but who knows? Skoda's ordering and build process seems all over the shop at the mo :-(

God only knows, though i don't mind waiting as it's free :) i daren't even ask Skoda for a build week yet ( it's only been a week ) i'm sure they would laugh.....

As they say, owt for nowt ;-)

It took about 5 weeks for me to get a build date and I'm hoping to get the car in the next 2 weeks which would be 10 weeks ish. So could be a little while yet before they give you a build week.

Either way pal I hope it all goes smoothly for you :-)

Just got of the phone with SUK , and they confirmed again the build specs of my car and it does deffo does have front assist, i'm wondering if it is part of park assist pack?, or as previously suspected my dealer has made a b@lls up to my benefit.

I have all the options as shown on my order form.

And the only thing slightly holding things up is the lane assist, but orders are making it to dealers in 12 / 14 weeks, he didn't mention anything about front assist holdups.
