Pictures of a 3" single rolled out tip

Featured Replies

Seeing as everyone has been asking for pics thought it would be easier to do a new post than post pics in several others. These are on my Instagram too kyle_vrs

Close up of it on.

Really liking it but will look better when the car is clean, comments welcome

looks good but I like the the twin aswell. have you had the single welded on in place of the twin tips?

That single looks like its twin has fallen off

Thumbs down

The twin was a sports back box but this is some pipe with a tip on it. Black probably isn't the best colour car to tell with but looks good in real life. It doesn't look like one tip has fell off if your actually looking at it as its in the centre of the cut out

It just looks awkward, looks like 1 tips fallen off and the remaining one is trying to man up and fill the hole but not quite managing...

Better?

I wasn't being funny in that last post when I said if you actually look at it I mean if you look at it in real life and not in a picture of doesn't look as bad. I twin or oval do suit it but I'm liking the fact it's different

Looks too small for the cut out imo, but each to their own! Would be boring if we all had the same.

Good on you for being different Kyle!

The only single tubed exhaust I've seen and liked on a vRS is grr666's old motor with the large oval exhaust. Audi did a similar thing going from twin to singular on the A3.

Jars it was a Blueflame exhaust I believe, I quite liked that style exhaust tip too.

That oval looks too big imo! It's huge!

Not a fan sorry. Due to the bumper cutout it needs to have a better shape than round.

Sorry.

As said, round doesn't suit the bumper cut out at all.

I like it, didnt think it looked out of place on mine.

Think this is going to be a marmite mod by the sounds of it! Techie that does look good! I want someone to do a 4" Jap style lol

4" might work better, fill it out a little more.

I like it ! Not a fan of that 6x4 oval either far to big in my opinion

It just doesnt fill the cut out in the bumper, I couldn't live with that

I really like it the more I see it. I think the thing I like is there's only one other wth this tip as far as I'm aware so it's nice to have something different, it's either oval or twin so it's nice to go against the grain and have something different. These cars have been around for a long time now and everything you can do has been done so it's hard to make the car your own

Thought I'd update this now I've done a few thousand with it on. The more it got sooted up the better it started to sound, had it mapped last week and can't believe the effect it had on the exhaust. Still not a fan of the whistle on idle, it sounds like a jet waiting to take off but on boost it is awesome! I'm shocked at how loud it is its more like a petrol and the growl it makes sounds evil. Had quite a few of the boy racers spin round to see what it is when I've given it some in 3rd gear. Enjoying the 0 box system and now the tip is sooted up it looks alot better. I will wash the car tomorrow and add pics
