Yup,

Basically I'd like a couple of people who drive mapped Octys for a few hours at a pub somewhere in Cheshire one evening.

I'll hand you the keys...and write down your comments :D

*You hand me yours aswell, should cover insurance ;)

depending on how far it is i'll be happy to bring my 4x4 along to compare and contrast :)

*bengie walks off to look on the AA for directions

Col, let me know when, as I may be working up in Fleetwood for the next 6 months.....

I assume my SDI would be adequate insurance? Oh and I used to drive a remapped petrol one (but only for 148,000 miles ;) ).

:D

Joel,

That is a side effect of it yes. But I'm after some views on it :D

Ideally would be locals TBH, or in the area :D

No need to feel sick though, unless Paul was driving :P

Bengie, I know how the 4x4 performs on road driving, prefer an almost like for like, as the 4x4 driven well can out perform most mapped RS's on UK roads, unless you unleash 3rd and 4th, but thats silly speeds ;)

This really is just a night out drink on me etc...curious, I think it's a MASSIVE improvment on previous "attempts", but one always does when it's new. I've driven superchips and APR, this is miles ahead...never driven a jabba'd vrs or amd etc, so looking for others views on mine.

Perhaps even lets you get a view of what a x y or z actually does.

I'd be happy with a stock RS and 7k in the bank, so I run a risk of feeling sick aswell ;)

Jon, more than welcome...just let me get a flipping sump guard.

Need to get a spare gear box for Paul's run :D

Would love to have a go, but a bit far to go. ;) Colin? You going to the Awesome open day? If I can make it to that I'll gladly have a play.

The lack of power won't excite you young Max.

Last of the PD130's driving into the sunset.

PS,

No, it's on my desk, was going to scrub it and pay for your llandow day...will post it today.

Jason, no disrespect, but I think he wants people with experience of driving modded Octy RSs to compare his new map. You were a passenger in mine a couple of times, I'll take you out in Colin's.

Col, if you're going to let Jason leave his mongrel ;) as insurance and let him drive it, fit a cage :D

aww come on the lad has suffered enough for his mishap.

Colin you have PM ..

No he hasn't! :D

(his mongrel might be quite fun to compare too)

Ok I still smile when I think back to Jason, shaking like a leaf at the bar and the concerned *friends* try to convince him to have a bowl of soup or some food...and the mercyless Jon asks if he wants a roll with it...

JAson, more than welcome to swap...but if I see one power tool, thats it...no game.

and the mercyless Jon asks if he wants a roll with it...

Hey, I drove him back to Bristol and bought him a burger (in a roll of course) :D

Don't forget to pop in for your lunch/tea/supper :)

It was seeing you last night that sparked the tought TBH :D

Thanks for PM Tim, NW meet perhaps ;)

Other wise just a blip up and down that A road from the 56 ;)

If you want the feel of a black one let me know LOL, car that is hehee.

Its not remapped but I couldn't think of anything else to write ;-)

Hmm, do I qualify?

- Has written off a 1yr diesel rollerskate in the past year? Check

- Has now a new rollerskate which drinks for the derv pump? Check

Depending on when it is, I may have another performance mod fitted which would hopefully improve things quite a bit more (thinking of run with Des along M4 coming back from Marlborough BBQ meet) ;)

Col you can lend my AP-22 if you want to measure any times etc.
