judder under acceleration

Featured Replies

As in title, my 06 vrs seems to be giving out a bit of a judder just as you try to floor it, after about a second or two this seems to dissapear and the car will continue accelerating as normal... Does anyone on here have any ideas as to what this might be?

It also seems intermittent. Could it be engine mounts?

Could be the fly wheel.

Is the fly wheel something that will deteriorate gradually?

when was the fuel filter last replaced?

I would try that first.

Not sure to be honest, I'll get it changed and see what happens.

BLT hesitation, check it out.

Iv done a search for blt hesitation, but all the threads seem to have links that don't work. Can anyone put up a link to show me the said gasket that seems to fix this issue?

Mine done this and gradually got worse turns out the fuel filter was the problem so I'd change that first can't really go wrong for the price of them

If it is the BLT hesitation, its a gasket on the EGR valve that has a standard 25mm hole on it, you will need to pick up the 9mm replacement. its a genuine VW part,

I think the part number is S028131547B , costs a couple of quid
