Just getting a rough idea of how long you lovely people are waiting for your cars and what you have orderd?

I orderd a vRS hatch Tdi -

Canton

Black design

Winter pack

Standard cruse

Sunset glass

Metallic paint

Colour maxi dot

Spare wheel

Mitsumi.

I orderd this on the 20th September, SUK say that I should expect the car in feb/march.

Has anybody orderd the same time had a confirmed build week or been told to expect a long wait?

Ordered VRS Tdi Estate 11th September and it's at Emden waiting for ferry. Have been told 3 weeks to get to dealer. Not many extras, Canton, Sunset Glass, CC, Pictoris wheels, Brilliant Silver, Amundsen and colour maxi dot.

Sounds similar. VRS TDi DSG estate, silver with pictoris wheels, silver roof rails, sunset glass, cc, Amundsen with Canton, and colour MaxiDot. Ordered 30th August, and just waiting for a ferry to bring it over. Was originally told Nov 23rd for delivery, so doesn't seem too far off the mark (although at one point it slipped 4 weeks then came back to the original slot again).

Fingers crossed we're not waiting long!

TDI  SE Hatch in Race Blue, with spare wheel.  ordered16th September and PROMISED for the 16th December

Ordered vrs tdi hatch on 14th September with following options:

Tow preparation

Sunset glass

Colour maxi-dot

Race blue metallic

Been given build week 51 (3rd week dec). If I see the car this year, think I will be doing well!

Dealer (who I haven't heard a dickie-bird from since!) said January delivery although my paperwork states "factory order" so they're not committing themselves.

 

No build date as yet.

If you give your dealer or Skoda UK a ring they will be able to look on the system which shows them if a build week has been posted. That will probably be provisional and only when it gets to about 1 or 2 weeks before build do you get a confirmed build date. At least you will have some idea of when even if it is provisional.

Ordered 11th October with delivery quoted on the invoice as end of this coming January (15 weeks). Not as yet heard from the dealer as to a provisional build but it's not that long since placing the order. Quite happy to play the waiting game and it is a lottery; current Fabia was on the drive in 10 weeks, more than a month ahead of that quoted and the Yeti took 25 weeks, two months later than expected.

Probably a better question is "who was given a stupidly long delivery date extension but has now received their car?"

Nope, long story. Quotas. So far, I *think* I might be the only person on this site who's fallen foul of it.

Dealer says build week 51, but I suspect that was just to keep me quiet. It has shown week 02 before and also dropped off the system at some point as well, which I suspect has happened to others also. TBH, I'm not expecting it until at least end of jan. ( probably be later than that)

Someone more knowledgeable than me might explain, but essentially each dealer is given an allocation/quota. If they go over that, it becomes a problem.

 

My advice to anyone about to order is to ask the dealer face to face "are you nearing your quota". It's a question worth asking, as the salesman you deal with might not even know the answer, so he'll have to go and check.

Ordered VRS Tdi DSG Estate in white .Extras - leather heated seats, Sunset Glass, Standard cruise control, Amundsen and spare wheel. Ordered 1st week of September and it arrived last week. I think it was build in week 42. Picking it up next week! So fast delivery to dealer and cannot wait!

Orderer my 1.8 TSI DSG Elegance with Electrical Seats, Kessy, Heated Front Screen, Front Assist on September 16th, 

got a build week of 46 two weeks ago, checked in with the dealer last week and was told another 6 months delivery on account of the Front Assist.

 

Looking at April....

Ordered beginning of October Candy white Vrs hatch with Columbus and canton.Dealer says January at the earliest
