I am currently in Germany, have been for three weeks, and I'm starting to get a recurring problem with the Columbus system which randomly shuts down. In the middle of an unknown city, in a one way system, losing GPS is no fun! 

 

There is no common pattern, sometimes the radio is on as well as GPS, sometimes music from the HDD. I've loaded up two or three addresses into the memory (so about 25 in there now) in the last fortnight but otherwise nothing new. Music on HDD is under half full. 

 

It won't turn on again until the car is stopped, engine turned off, driver out and locked doors...then back in again.  Again, try that in German traffic! And on an Autobahn...completely stuck. That was in the dark and rain last night. Just died...

 

Any ideas welcomed please...
