I just watched the first vid I posted again; that's pretty much the same line I take to get onto the 271 :D

There's a couple of unmarked Octavia's on the A1M in Hertfordshire

Cambridgeshire have a 3.6 v6 Superb. Mmmm

Leicestershire Police have / did have a few Octavia VRSs - a black one similar to that above.

They also used to have a Focus RS, unmarked

They do indeed have some vRS unmarked cars, pre and post facelift. One that looks very similar to mine which can make for some entertaining driving at 65mph on the M69.

I didnt realise Leics police also had an RS, I know they definitely ran a Focus ST and possibly a Mk5 R32. My dad is adamant he's seen an unmarked Superb too

Be impressed if MIB sequels use this car in their nx film ! :-)

I think it depends how they're used. I believe a static blue light is not technically illegal but if you had a proper blue light somewhere on the front or rear of your car, I would fully expect you would eventually be stopped and asked to remove it. If you have a flashing blue light, then you'd probably get stopped and told to removed it or risk being done for impersonating a police officer or something along those lines.

Do you remember all the original Beetles in the 80s that had blue dot rear indicators? There's a reason why they stopped selling those.

Is that the one from Carlisle? We have an identical one to that here starting 'NK12' ending in 'AS#'. It was being driven on both occassions by two WPCs, the thing I noticed the most was the bright yellow stab vests they were wearing.

Only cost £100 and three points but I got a snap away and managed to ask if his head went all the way to the top of his hat

Hampshire police have lots of marked and unmarked Octavia's,and a few BMW's too

They still run an unmarked Race Blue vRS on the M27 - amazing the amount of drivers that used to behave round me on the M27 - not so much now I've put my personal plate on.

I understand they chopped the ST in for RS but can't be sure. I've seen the R32 in all it's glory chasing someone down on the M1 sometime ago, but haven't seen it recently.

Can't comment on the Superb - perhaps it was me your dad saw !!!

they're pretty much ONLY skoda around here.

BUt as for unmarked ones, there's all sorts .... friend of mine was pulled over by a leon cupra r

Was about to post the same thing about also all police cars being skoda, plus a few volvos. Unsure on the unmarked ones.

Could be, there's one out west too.

the unmarked superb up here (NW Cumbria, so I assume works Carlisle) is a grey one (silver?) , very unassuming....

Slight related but possibly not - I got in the way of a very high speed police convoy today: 2 marked cars, followed by 2x 7.5t plain blue trucks (with flashing yellow lights in the grille) then another marked car at the rear, and another some 100 yards behind them all.

Now I've seen the prisoner convoys before but wonder what these were carrying? Arms?

They weren't stopping for no-one.
