Pre-set telephone numbers

Featured Replies

Can anybody suggest why the pre-set telephone numbers on my Columbus screen occasionally disappear Even though the telephone book list is intact.

The mobile is a Galaxy GT S5360 and this works perfectly

Cheers. Graham

Mine takes about 60 seconds from ignition-on before the presets appear, if that helps you?

Sometimes mine disappear if I update my Phonebook.

Thanks for that - mine do the same but then vanish without trace possibly after three or four weeks.

I input them again and all is ok for a while and then they vanish again.

Frustrating to say the least because I only realise they aren't there when I need them.

I have the exact same problem with my iPhone. Strangely, the call log always works.

I found that mine disappeared after the wife had used it and connected her phone.

I've entered them in manually and they always appear after about 45-60 seconds.

I have about 2,500 contacts and always get the 'phonebook not updated' error.

Is there a limit on the internal phonebook?

I have read that some units have a 400 contact limit. Not so sure about the newer ones...
