Hey Guys- how is everyone? 

 

Yesterday me and my dad had the new VRs for the day. and wow! it was something else it really was, its the one he may possibly be buying, the skoda dealership ordered it as a demo car but pretty much to his specification.. there isn't much you could add to it.. it has everything, apart from cruise control; which i thought was on it but hey ho

 

its a 2.0 DSG. White. 

19" alloys

Sunroof

Full satnav columbus system? 

Lane assist

Uprated speakers

Full leather

Keyless entry

Stop start

Rear parking sensors

Heated seats

iPod holder

little side tray bin type thingy

 

i can't remember what else it had, put it was packed with extras

 

i personally think its the best by far that i have seen, in white with the wheels its just perfection

 

the drive is amazing, so smooth.. when you put it into sport, the car just changes; it becomes and animal.. the noise in unbelievable: but thats because of the sound enhancement that they have put into the cabbin.

 

the pickup is so much quicker then the older VRs

 

i think its a great car, looks great, it was also great on fuel..

they haven't got a price yet as its only just come in and skoda won't give the dealer a price until later on, we should find out the price in january

Do you think it needs the black pack? Looking at your pictures, it may not be totally necessary. I'm deffo going with the sunset glass though.

Is it me or do the new wheels stick out further than the tyres,just looking for a kerb. Do the new wheels being 19 inch make the car noisier than the old 18 inch. ?

There is a picture somewhere on here of a candy white without Black pack. It just doesn't work as well.

I ordered Candy White with Black pack and sunset glass as an Estate…should be beautiful.

 

By the way, who is the shifty looking guy in picture 7? Thank god it's got an anti theft alarm.

the sunset glass really sets it off though, i think without it it would just look to bland? 

looks amazing mate but the only thing missing is deco the black style pack, would look awesome with this on it.

I don't think it has sunset privacy glass. Would be a good addition though.

None of the good options on that like sunset glass or black pack and 4 of the things you've listed are standard anyway.

Hope you're not trying to humiliate him. Personally, I find his enthusiasm a breath of fresh air!

What?! Not at all, I remember the excitement of my dad getting a new car when I was a young lad

Looks a nice car but whenever I look at these I just can't shake the feeling that the styling just isn't anywhere near 'sporty' enough for a hot hatch. But then I guess that appeals to some in itself.

As others have said -needs the black pack. Love that sunroof tho! :-)

If it's so well specced, why does it have a huge number of switch blanks and only a few of the plastic things replaced with active buttons?
