Better looking spoiler? What do you think?

Featured Replies

One thing I'm not that keen on the vRS is the large 80's style spoiler.

I noticed this one in this youtube video around 1.05 in.

I like it, a bit Audi like but I've never seen it in the configurator, perhaps it's region specific.

What do you think, too subtle for the vRS?

Cheers

The spoiler in the vRS hatch is too small as it is and looks odd, need to be a bit bigger.

I think the spoiler in the video is the one that's standard for the 1.8 TSI Hatch. I don't think you can configure it anywhere, but I'm pretty sure you can order it as a part at any Skoda pusher.

.. if you don't like any of the options Superskoda of course! ;)

Here in Slovenia this is the spoiler you get with the "Dynamic package".

Anybody have any idea of the make/model of the wheels in that pic? I love 'em.

Apologies for offending spoiler afficionados, but the one thing I would like not to be on the vRS I'd like to buy is the spoiler. Is it a cardinal sin to admit that?! :notme:

Another reason to go with the estate!

The car in the photo's isn't a VRS, no twin tail pipes.

Does look good though.

And I to like the look of those wheels, very Audi S5.

I agree Skoda should have fitted the small lip spoiler as per the dynamic package to the vRS hatch, looks alot better than what it comes with currently.

More subtle but infinitely more tasteful IMHO.

That's a spoiler !!!???

Not keen on that myself. The vrs hatch should have a much more prominent spoiler than that. More so than the one currently fitted to them

Something like the good old cosworth spoilers found on the Sierra and Escort? ;D

Only kidding... A bit more subtle but more aggressive than the current offering would be good. Maybe something like this

My 1.8 TSI L&K (shown here) came with a spoiler just like the one in the link from the first post. As I bought the car from (UK) stock, I have no idea whether the spoiler came as standard, had been specified by whichever dealer had brought the car into the UK, or by whoever might have ordered the car then not gone through with the purchase.

Yep same lip on my elegance 1.8 TSI. When I ordered in 2013 my dealer told, that these are standard on 1.8 (at least in Estonia) and at the beginning some 1.4 TSI cars had them on.
