At last I have my Boxster (with pics added)

Featured Replies

After a 2 week delay in getting the car caused by a seeminly untraceable fault, I got the car yesterday. All I can really say at the moment is WOW and I cant stop grinning. The way the power is delivered is totally different to the octy, and being rear wheel drive gives the whole car a different feel. I'll post some pics later, but I feel the need to go for yet another drive.

What was wrong with the car? Not sure myself really, the OPC at guildford ended up changing the MAF, fuel pump and then the main ECU. The clutch was also changed, although it had some wear left it was going to need changing in about 6 months.

Good things will take a while :D

Congrats.. finally, you

Yep, this is the car coming on the september trip.

At last manny, you have it and it looks really nice. At least the problem has been sorted so you should get a few hours of no problem driving :)

Looks beautiful, love those wheels :)

Hope you're out at the moment enjoying it!

Steve

thought you were getting it in the horrible green colour?

I was originally, but I found this one with better spec at a specialist dealer so I went with this one. At least I have a warranty unlike buying private.

Looks good Manny :thumbup::cool:

Manny,

I think your car would look better with some green brakes behind those wheels. I'd be reluctantly willing to swap if you wish. :D

Very Nice car BTW.

does look nice, but i think id have gone for a Honda S2000.

Looks very nice  .You have two boots now as well!

Green brakes look good only on Skodas in my opinion.

Nice red calipers. Nice car. How's it drive?

:)

another fellow owner who now has a porsche thats slower than their octy was..

nice choice mannyo..... did the trip in my old toy have any influence on your decision...?

I'd love to get one of those (or better still an S2000) - but i dont think the dog would fit in the boot.
