Have you tried confused.com? Just came up trumps for me. Last two years Tesco have been cheapest. Their renewal landed on my doormat this morning;

I can't use confused or any other search engines due to the modded state of my car. Any insurance quote I get has to be so highly customised that I have to talk to someone to make sure everything's listed which makes the premium as exclusive as the car :(
