Hi there, I used my washers thursday and this morning I've noticed that my passenger side headlamp washer unit cover is sitting proud of the bumper-it hasn't retracted properly. Anyone else had this problem?

Yes if you read about 3 posts up. Several people have had it, you can just push it back in and it's seems after several washes they start working fine, they just seems a bit tight when new and need wearing in a little.

Mine do come onto the windscreen if the car is stationary but when you're moving they're fine.

 

I love them, for a start they scared the bejesus out of swmbo also the poor workie on the road works I was driving through the other night got soaked.

Dealt with one ar$€ who thought he was going to dive up the inside of my car via a gap that was too narrow & whacked the wing mirror, the aforementioned ar$€ also rode through a red light.

 

So I gave him a wash with warm water to wake him up, better than knocking him off.

Well he kind of deserved it then.  But as a cyclist myself I get quiet angry at motorist intentionally trying to injure for no other reason then i'm on a bicycle.  Only this morning I had some old **** in a jag intentionally try and squashed me against the curb, I could actually see him looking at me in his mirror and start moving over into me!

Nah, if i did that every time someone tried something like that i'd be living at the police station, just a downside of the sport i guess.

I've had my car 8 days and so far I've had one cyclist try and damage it, one pensioner pull out without warning and the front assist saved it and WVM come in the out of the station car park and nearly hit me head on.

Maybe buying a 13 plate was a bad idea.

I have the washer jet problem on mine. Think they are gonna have it in to look at next week.

Also useful to get someone riding your tail in traffic to back off!

just to update, took it in today. washers/bumper adjusted in 15mins. all sorted.
