Skoda Octavia

Featured Replies

HI,

I am looking to buy or order an n 75 valve for my Skoda Octavia 1.9 TDI.

I live in India, Pune. Any help on this would be appreciated. Also if anyone knows what would be the cost of this part in India.

I'd have thought your first port of call would be eBay. Contact sellers and see how the land lays with shipping.

Tried eBay, but its not available on the site - Atleast the Indian one.

And this is the first time I am doing such a thing personally, else the vehicle has always been handled by the Skoda dealership. Which now i dont trust as they over charge and the last instance did not carry out a standard service as stated in the invoice :(

Just out of curiosity, what exactly is an n 75 valve?

Its a plastic looking peice with multiple 3mm pipes running in and out of it.

You can google it by the N75Valve name and it will show you the images

Time to recycle an old picture....  It controls how much vacuum is applied the actuator to control the variable vane position in the turbo.

Hi Guys,

I spent Rs7500/- on getting a new N75 valve, however the car still looses its pull (May be limp mode)SOMETIMES.

I have checked all the pipes for leaks, checked the lever near the actuator, it is not sticky and moves very freely.

What else can be the cause of this issue. There is no engine light flashing as well and the scan does not show any error codes.

Someone told me i should now replace the vacuum pump as well, this i think is much costlier, any suggestions.

DIrty air filter, MAP sensor, MAF sensor or maybe even CTS.  If the vanes in the turbo move freely then it can't be sticky vanes (or a fault which has been occurring for that long).

Try checking specified vs actual (block 11)

I am sorry did not quite get your point on the block 11

use vagcom to monitor block 11 and compare the values between "Specified" and "actual"
