Hi all, this is my first post Im looking to buy a VRS this weekend and the one I am looking at has the awful standard seats fitted. I mean what person thought white was the way forward for seats    

 

That aside I have been looking at the thread and can see that the MK4 Golf Recaro's fit the VRS, can I ask is this a straight forward take old out and new go in and would this be the same for the rear seats?

 

Or am I living in the world of dreams, where that is highly unlikely

No they need the metal frame work swapping between the two seats.

 

The rears need a bit of work to fit in too.

 

The only direct bolt in replacements with no mods required are from Fabia, Ibiza 6L and Polo 9n/9N3

So for less grief try to stick to Fabia, Ibiza 6L and Polo 9n/9N3 seats, I have to say its not easy to find seats now days front or rear and I think it might be a tad more expensive having the existing seats refurbed than buying new ones

Will Octavia or Leon seats fit easily enough? Straight removal of old and bolt the new in?
