Shame an actor who acted at being a great car driver is dead.

I genuinely feel for his family, but this is just an excuse for a load of  

neds to go and do wheel spins in 'his honour' in some carpark somewhere and

give the police a load of hassle trying to control them and keep some braindead

roadracer saxo driving wannabe from killing him/herself on our roads.

There are no details on the page at all about the "event" I.e where it is etc. I doubt the people that posted it up have the first clue about the level of organisation required. Just "turn up and drive" isn't going to work. Recipe for disaster best avoided!

It is a shame a actor has died however going out and speeding around at a cruise is not the way to remember him, his films encouraged enough of that already where young people have gone out, raced about and met their end in a collision and now it seems he has done the same. Do we really want to encourage more of this foolish driving?

I must admit my first thought was whether the Actor was actually a petrolhead or boy racer.  As a father and 40 year old I hope not!

 

A far more fitting tribute would be for all the boyracers to donate the petrol money they would have spent, travelling to the "cruz  " to a road safety charity.

 

And also, bah humbug.

Not trying to get into a ding dong with you here, but name me just one

benefit or positive outcome from this 'event'.  Several will most likely get nicked,  

several will most likely get hurt, property will get damaged, residents will be inconvenienced

and hassled not to mention disturbed by all the noisy fucwits and their noiser street machines innit,

people will be drunk, stoned and misbehaving in general and it will be a total waste of taxpayers

money policing it. And all for a bloke who if truth be known, if push came to shove probably wouldn't

have pi55ed on the likes of us 'normal' people if we were on fire.

 

We seem to be forgetting the FACT that he was an actor and not a bad boi street racer.

I can honestly that IMO,  if his next pay cheque had been for acting as a 'lawyer',  

'ships captain', 'superhero', 'drug dealer', 'murderer' or 'footballer' he would have taken it.

It doesn't actually make him any of these things....   

If his most famous role had been as a psycopath does it mean that 'in his honour' we should

all go out and furiously and vigorously stab the first person we see ?? Of course not.

That would be ridiculous, but in principle no different to what's going on here which is also

ridiculous.  

 

He was an actor, he pretends for a living while someone else films him doing it.   

Like I said, shame he's dead. I mean that in all honesty.  

It's a shame when anyone dies before their time, I attended a funeral only a couple of

weeks ago for a poor little baby that died. The parents are devastated. As I imagine Pauls  

family are as well, but it's their loss to bear.

But this 'cruz' is a recipe for disaster.  

I wholeheartedly hope it doesn't happen in my town.

I wish it nothing but failure.
