Moving up in the world - ordered myself a octavia mk3 vrs today

Put my fabia vrs in for a service on Tuesday and was given with new octavia vrs as a curtesy car and loved it,so went in today and ordered myself one.will take 3 months to get it but will be worth it

I would be very interested in a comparison review between the 2 when you have done a few thou in the octy please How much did the octy cost you? DSG petrol ?

It's a dsg diesel as I do a lot of miles and the two days I had the petrol it's cost me 40 quid for fuel. It's candy white saloon and I've had the black pack and the iPhone Maxidot system added and was 24,850 or so

Lucky, I usually get a Roomster as a courtesy car. No danger of swapping to one of them!

What came of your bad steering escapade with the vRS?   What was discovered to be wrong in the end.

erm they said it was the tyre pressures but its still not changed but just gonna leave it now had enough of the issue

Lets hope nobody ends up with ownership of your old car before it is properly sorted.

Maybe hide a note some place, under the spare wheel or the likes,

 for a new owner,  warning them about what it has had done in the past.

When ever I sell a car I always regret it and miss the old one. The Fabia hasn't been missed at all.

Plus The Octavia vRS is full of win!!! If I hadn't have had an arrogant salesman at the Spa dealership I would have been driving the new octy now instead of the ST

Haha I'll think about doing that,I'm looking forward to it,especially the tdi dsg.my fabia seems to drink the fuel,about as bad as the 300bhp st I used to have

My ST is about 7-10mpg worse than my fabia was over a typical month

Yeah. Get about 32mpg around town and 38mpg on the motorway. My old Mk2 ST was about 19/30 mpg in comparison

never driven one of the new ones,my mk2 was 310 and i only got 18/20 out of it and was a killer doing my round trip to work every day,miss the power though

Yeah, I'm interested in a Octy VRS Mk3 as soon as its viable to get out of my car. Fancy a diesel VRS!
