I'll not be there now, just realised the date clashes with a Dr. Zoidberg brisky visit to the Vulcan at wellesbourne and I've committed to that in memory of my dad who died 8 weeks ago who was a Vulcan enthusiast.

Priorities and all that

The Mrs is on board, just depends on repair bills. The 500 is due a new

exhaust and we're having a custom stainless job made for it as its cheaper

than the OE pipe, it also needs cambelt change and the air con has packed

up. Apart from that it's tip top :p I can't complain, it's been a real trooper

on our Scotland trip, it deserves a few quid splashing out on it.

Then there's the Audi.... less said about that the better.... got to spend God knows

how much money just so I can sell it. I sincerely hope it's been stolen while

we've been away. I am so pi$$ed off with it I even considered leaving the key

on the bonnet before I went away. The entire back of it is coated with engine oil

the revs are rising to 3k then dropping until the anti stall kicks in and then repeating

the cycle. Fark knows what's wrong and how much to fix... I have grown to hate it.

I might be a late addition to this.

Hi, yes camping is at the Plough, £10 per pitch. If you can get 20 people in the tent, it's £10

If you intend to pitch a tent at the plough you will need to phone them and pre book

getting closer now, so hope i have the new car for the trip! 

 

Apd007 as said, please phone to pre book the camping, 01425610185 just ask to book for a tent for the date, also let them know you are to do with the 'car people' (this is what i have named you all as its easier than explaining the whole Briskoda thing to them in the pub! haha)

Audi is in garage, he can't start on it til Friday so I'll keep you posted. 

I'll be there, me and gilly are booked in at the plough in! I may be in th eeunos if its going to be dry and sunny, but swmbo will be joining me on friday in the citigo! I'll bring the vRS if it rains

I have the same weather dilemma. 

Bike ride or van ride? Cars out of the running at the moment.

Well, in what I shall term an interesting turn of events it looks like the Mrs and I will be attending on the Sunday... in a Skoda... model TBC!

As it's taken soooo long to get our vRS and just got put back another 6 weeks (build week 35 now), Skoda UK are putting us in a courtesy car from now until ours arrives

Ironically they are driving it over from Sway to us in Dorchester on Monday, and then we'll be driving it to see you guys on Sunday.

I shan't say what we get, but you'll know its us as it will be driven like a loaner should be (joke BTW before anyone gets on the 'no stupid driving' horse - I have to tell my rabble to behave every time I organise a meet for our local car club, they're a nightmare!)

Looking forward to it, I'm presuming enough people are bringing fire already what with all the happy campers if we just bring some food and drink?

So I've finally pulled my finger out and booked up for this weekend

long term weather looks good, may attend in the eunos

Perhaps we should out together a list of essentials to make sure between us we have it? Or am I being overly organised?!

I'll be bringing my fire pit (already agreed with the Plough) so bring some chairs to sit round

always good to have a fire

I'm still not able to confirm at the moment. I'm having some work done on my house that should have finished LAST Friday, but they're now talking about finishing by THIS Friday. :(

Oh sorry. I'll be bringing two BBQs and charcoal etc so no need. Just what you want to eat is fine

Right then guys the weekend is very nearly

 

What time are people getting to the Plough and what are your plans for the rest of the day?! 

 

I'm not from this neck of the woods and the missus is suggesting a run down to Bournemouth as it's meant to be a belter, but then everyone else knows this and will have the same idea...... 

we're easy and will go with the flow (assuming people are being sociable on the Saturday and not doing their own thing?!) 

as Jars says the weekend is very close! who is down early? (friday or saturday)

 

Im down from tomorrow will be at the plough in the evening.

 

Jars unfortunately i will be doing my own thing saturday as i did think the exact same thing about a ride out to bournemouth but everyone will have the same idea! so have chosen to sort a few things out at our house before my friends get down and most likely i will give up in the afternoon and end up at the pub again! haha

Still undecided.... Weekend is kept open just in case but still don't know what the crack is with the car...
