BRAKE SLIDER SNAPPED ARRRGHH! HELP

Featured Replies

Hi guys ok... so set to do some work on the pickup.. lowering it to be presice... whike doing this found brake slider to be siezed.. subsequently it snaoped trying to free it off... so although I woukd like to do the ford mondeo/kia rio brake upgrade on the thread on here I cant locate any mk1 mondeo calipers or carriers anywhere... so I need a new carrier.. a gentleman on ebay is breaking a fun wagon... what I need to know is the caliper carrier the same on the petrol engine pickups as that on the diesel... skoda do them but £60 pkus vat and 6week back order... any help.would be appreciated cheers

the brake caliper carrier bracket is universal across the entire model range, both petrol and diesel, the hatchback/estate and pickup and fun all use the same one, same calipers and discs too.. the carrier braket can come from either side of the vehicle left or right they are identical, it's only the caliper which is side specific.
