FLego City already on the aproved used site

A bit sooner than expected?

I thought that demonstrators were usually kept for about 6 months?

I bet it won't sit there for long though, with lead times being as they are.

I've noticed this dealership always seems to have a good stock and some of the pre F / L models were at very reasonable prices.

Two of my three Yeti's were demos both with less than 200miles on clock and one less than a month old.

Good spotting Julie, I bet most of us missed this :hi:

I think it looks good!

It's got a radio/cassette too.....none of this new fangled MP3 stuff!

I really dislike the way that website works... try looking for a car with heated seats... You can't. You have to browse the pictures to see if the buttons are on the dash. Gah!

You'd think they would want to advertise options. So it's an SE model (here is what an SE model has circa 2009-13 pre FL) and here is a list of the extras the previous owner had factory fitted!

Nice to see they've already got theirs and mines still sitting in Emden  :wall:

Can't be sold until it's 3 months old though.

Good spot on the Radio/Cassette

Put a deposit down, it's yours ;)

You'll probably get it before yours arrives :giggle:

Hi

Obviously this one can't be sold till 3 months old as stated but is this purely because its a F/L model ?

My present yeti was a demo just over 3 weeks old and advertised as   "Will be available shortly" so I made a enquirey the salesman asked  his boss and the deal was done inside 3 days.

I thought that demos had to be kept by garages till at least 6 months old but thankfully proved wrong.

Do you think there is an option for an 8 track player - the heart of a really great in-car entertainment?

(Sorry, slow day in the office.......)

No radio cassette -  just the usual standard radio/single CD.

Bolero takes 6 CD's.

But still no cassette.

Anyway, why did someone think there was - or were they joking?

The joys of tick boxes, if you can't be bothered to check through the spec you tick 'select all' - I've done it a few times   :giggle:

Hello, Richard, is that you??

Hello, Richard, is that you AGAIN??

Edited  ;)

Amazing some dealers can do this.

The car they've just recieved and can't sell for 3 months on the approved used site to drum up some interest and say it's not available yet...

Gets them noticed though I guess.

When the Preston Motors one arrives I will pop down for a look, just to satisfy my own curiosity of course. :)

Would I be right in thinking this particular example has the sports seats? We spec'd them on our SE 1.2 order.

Skoda doesn't let it's dealers sell demo cars off until they are 3 months old, or it costs the dealer money.

So if you bought your "demo" at 3 weeks old you probably paid enough to make it worthwhile for them.

Hi Richard

I've had a conversation with one of our trade members you know very well on this subject which was very enlightening  ,I assure you I had a cracking deal almost 4k off rrp and top p/ex.( no bull****)

Perhaps the reason was delivery of the new F/L was expected in very shortly and would you want to order order a test drive in a old model ? .

Either way I'm over the moon with the deal and all round performance of the 140, what your souped up 170 does must be amazing, do you use it for everyday use or just track days?

I think that you will find that they will let you have the car but you will have to wait for the logbook :notme:

Mike
